Good day to pack up the tent sight and make a run for the hills. Wow it’s hot out. Stopped by Sylvan Lake. The water is always cool and refreshing. Staying at the South Dakota Custer State Game Lodge tonight. It will be great to have a mattress and air conditioning. Tent camping helps remind me of how nice it is to have shelter year round from the elements. It is truly a great period of time to live. I need to be remindful of how comfortable life is normally. Here are a couple pictures from the day.

Sylvan Lake. Great day for some cool water.
Last day at the Vanocker Canyon Campground.
The bridge is out south of Nemo. “ Take the short cut gravel they said. It’ll be fine they said. Will cut off 7 miles they said.” Definitely a BMW GS road. My buddy took the tar route and met me at the sugar shack. Beat me by 15 minutes. Short cut. Huh.
Glad for the new Anakee Adventure tires.
Mount Rushmore Brewing Company urinal. Great re-use of a beer keg. Definitely thought this idea through. Had lunch in the restaurant. What a great place for a meal. Great service and excellent food.
