It was a nice day in the hills. I was trying to take a shortcut south out of Nemo to the Sugar Shack on HWY 385. I think I took a different route than most people do. I didn’t see a single Harley all the way across between tar roads. I did see 3 dirt bikes and they looked at me kind of sideways. It is nice having the multi tool bike that can pretty much do whatever you want it to do. This is dependent on your skill level and amount of reasonableness you can expect out of a 600+ pound motorcycle. The handling and suspension on the BMW GS is the best for all around riding I have found. I am so happy to have found the BMW that fits my riding choices. The dual sport world is growing every year. I am looking forward to seeing all the various models of them. Healthy competition is a good thing. It will only make the motorcycling world better for all of us. My next motorcycle will definitely be another BMW when it is time to move past this one. Ride safe!
