Ring neck pheasant

It’s that time of year again. Crops are coming in and it is time to harvest the rest of what South Dakota has to offer. There have been a lot more vehicles driving around with people wearing blaze orange safety vests. The covid doesn’t seem to have slowed the hunting down. When walking the field you are at least 6 feet apart so that solves that problem. One of the better parts of pheasant hunting is you can’t start hunting pheasants till noon early in the season and ten am later in the season. It is one of the better hunting trips as you don’t have to get out of bed at zero dark thirty to be in time for the hunt. ( in other words you can close the bar down and still get up in plenty of time to hunt the next day). Anyway, it is great exercise and I believe it helped my kids with gun safety and target identification. Hunt safe.
