Snap It Restaurant

Went out driving today and was looking for something to eat for Thanksgiving. Google Maps showed this restaurant so went to it. As you walk in, there are tile fish inlays in the walkway. The restaurant is open air and surrounded by cactus and greenery. This gives the restaurant a unique feel. The water came up to us an let us know it was a fresh catch of the day place. They don’t have a menu. He listed off several different fish to chose from. My wife chose the red snapper. I asked him what he thought was the best. He told me “JERO”. I told him I would take that then. I tried looking the fish up and was unable to locate one by that name. He was able to find a fish on his phone called a Jack Crevalle. He told me that is a similar fish. The platters came out with some nice sized fish and sides. The Jack Crevalle was really good. It was kind of a sweet meat. The red snapper was also very good. The price for the two fish, sides and two lemonades was 81 Guilders ($45.38 USD) plus a $5.00 tip this was a good meal for the money. It is good to be able to get fresh fish in a restaurant. We will definitely go again. Here are some photos.
