2022 was a good year over all. A lot of thought and planning went into future plans. Chose to retire in October to see what else life had to offer. Was getting tired of the bone breaking cold in South Dakota. It seemed like every moment was either spent indoors or trying to get back indoors. The decision was made to go to a warm place for the winter. Curaçao was the final decision. Found out it is a “human” temperature here. Not too hot and not to cold. Working in the sun could get too warm. Not working though. The temperature varies about 8 degrees per day. A great place to live. I chose to be on the porch for the last afternoon of the year. Neighbor stopped over and we sat outside chatting away most of the afternoon. After Aldo left I picked up the Kindle and read. This may not be everyone’s idea of a great day on an island, but it was perfect for me. Going to go out to the ocean tonight and watch the fireworks when the sun goes down. Life is good.
