Walk for the roses

The walk for the roses went past my place today. Several thousand people walked past. Seemed like a well attended event. This is a walk for cancer patients. The Curaçao Chronicle wrote,”According to the organization, this includes the Walk for the Roses for runners and walkers. They will walk early in the morning from Brionplein across the Queen Juliana Bridge to Mambo Boulevard. There, participants can get on their bikes for marked routes that will also end at the starting point. The organization says that later in the morning the competitive and recreational swimmers will leave from Zanzibar on Jan Thiel Bay to the beach at Mambo Boulevard.”
