Stopped for lunch here today. The Pirate Burger was recommended by the waitress. Added bacon to the burger. Pretty good burger! Came with French fries on the side. Good lunch. I will eat here again. Interesting sign in the toilet trough urinal. Something I never thought of. Who knew this was a thing???

So I was asked what fuel prices are in Curaçao. Here are photos and the calculations. Quick cost is 2.349 Guilders per liter. About $4.98 USD per US Gallon. Payable in cash upfront.

One thing that is interesting about Curaçao is the prepaid electricity. To refill it you go to a little window at the gas station. Here is the little beach area I go to most mornings and evenings. The swimming area is mainly used by locals and us since we area here for the winter. Just a little ways down from Avila Beach Resort. Life is good.

Here is a slightly faded 2013 Hyundai Accent which will be transportation for the winter. We really only need a small car for the island. It is fairly fuel efficient and beats walking. Ac blows cold!

Playa Kalki is a quiet beach in the westpundt area. Water was calm. Supposed to be able to observe sea turtles here sometimes. Didn’t get the snorkel in the water to check it out though. Not overcrowded at all at this beach.

Out driving around today and found this beach at the end of a road. Looks like a pretty kicked back place. Chair rental is reasonable at 5 guilders if ya bring it back when you are done. Very peaceful crowd there. We will definitely stop by for a day trip.
