Riding some minimum maintenance roads in southeastern South Dakota today.

Made it to check out Lake Okeechobee today. Saw another alligator. I was checking out an Airbnb that said there were allocators around. Assuming they meant alligators. Unless the allocators are allocating how many alligators are around. Anyway we ate ate the Tin Fish in Okeechobee. I had the Okeechobee catfish platter. Life is great.

Pretty cool area. We were able to see some alligators up close and other wildlife. The airboat was from Mitchs Airboat. I would do it again.

You know you are in a temperate climate when there is a coconut tree in the yard. Life seems better in a temperate climate.

Had fried oysters tonight for the first time. My official opinion is. Meh. Could live without them. This place was nice and the calamari was great. I’m just not a oyster fella it seems.

Fortunately we have a protector gnome guarding our Airbnb for the night.

Whether it is at work or play, the billboard keepers always seem to use up the whole board. What happens to the new information? Does it go over top or just get replaced? The back side map board is much cleaner.

Pretty cool name for a diner. Pretty good food. It is your average diner food. BLT it is!!!
