Hot potato and meatloaf for supper tonight. I am thankful for a wife who cooks so wonderfully. I am also thankful for my brother who brought them down from North Dakota for us to enjoy. Life is good.

I guess Amazon is building a 5 story building with 3 million square feet in Sioux Falls. Whenever I think of Amazon I still think of something like this, not an online store. I wonder where the Amazon name for the business came from?

Cooling down outside. Great day for cyber shopping. I haven’t really seen any deals yet. I am not sure if specific days matter anymore for the internet.

It seems the term Black Friday was originally used for the day after thanksgiving by police in Philadelphia. They used it to describe the crowds and masses of traffic for the start of shopping season. Merchants are probably the ones who made the term stick though. Seems like a turkey has found a new roost on a police car. Happy thanksgiving.

I love the look of a cool wheat beer. The hazy appearance and frosty head. I am glad to have to opportunity to enjoy these occasionally. This one was at Bertz bar in Beresford. It was an enjoyable Saturday.

I saw this classic beauty in the Ace Hardware lot. I look back and think of the cars and how cool they were. Almost (almost) makes me forget about the hard starts in the winter. Well the City has a resolution out to wear a mask. Hopefully it will slow the spread down till the vaccinations arrive. It will be nice to go back to regular life.

It sounds like we might be pulling troops out of some interesting places in the world. I wonder where they will go after that? Part of being in the Military is to travel places and do things. It’s been a few years since I served at the banquet with Trinity #200 Masonic Lodge in Sioux Falls. Had the clown crew from the Shrine come to cheer everyone up. I am looking forward to the days in the future where the only masks worn will be by clowns again.
