Tie dye day at the farm. This was my first attempt at it. We soaked the shirts in a solution of some sort to start with. I then was issued a handful of rubber bands. All I had to do was tie the shirt in random knots. The knot tying is what gives the shirtContinue reading “TiE DyE DaY”

Stopped at the Dime Horseshoe Bar in Sundance, Wyoming to cool off. Nice older bar. We missed the Wednesday activities of the burnout contest downtown, but the bartender said there was a great turnout. They inlaid silver dimes into the bar as part of the decoration. I thought it was cool. Here are some pictures.

The Stonehouse Saloon is located between Huelett, Wyoming and Belle Fourche, South Dakota. It is only open during the Sturgis Bike Rally. The house is built with stones and was put together to stand the wear of time. We stopped there and they had a live country band. They sounded great. One of the must see sights when in the eastern Wyoming area is Devil’s Tower. The tower is a massive geological uprising coming out of the prairie. Stayed in Deadwood last night. The city seems to be adding some new bars and restaurants. We ate at Mavericks on Main Street. The food was prepared perfect. The Saloon Number 10 had a great band.
