Here is the view from the beach lounge chair. The palm trees intertwined to make perfect shade for the day. Who needs a palapa??? Not I today. Good day at the beach

Looked down an alley in Punda and saw some tables. When we went down the alley there were a variety of restaurants in that area. Always discovering a new place to hang out here in Curaçao. I especially like the Mundo Bizarro Coca Cola painted sign.

Saw a hummingbird at the Blue Bay Beach Bar while we were eating lunch. It stopped by to get a drink out of the syrup container they use to mix drinks. Seems to me this bird has done this before. I wonder if the flowers are extra pollinated with the extra sugar from the syrup.

Went to Maira’s Kitchen in Otrabanda today. Had pretty good food. Had the seafood pasta and baklava. Nice change of pace. the water was from Saratoga Springs, NY. Looks like they have been bottling water since 1872, so they must know what they are doing. The baklava was awesome!

Was able to watch the Vikings play for the first time since I have been in Curaçao. It was a good game and they won which was a plus. Nice to have the neighbor guy figure out the cable tv to make it work. Seahawks came on later.

Went to the mangrove park today. What a nice park they put together. The walkways were well maintained and clear to walk around. It was well explained what the mangrove areas do for the environment. Bought some flippers to snorkel with. Tested them out at Daaibooi today. I think I need to use a different technique. They helped some, but not as much as I thought they would. ya. It’s a speedo I’m wearing. Speedo brand anyway.

The neighbor harvested his banana plant. He gave us some bananas still on the stalk! What a cool treat. They were a little bit sweet and sour. Unique taste. Nice to have good neighbors.

Just another loud motorcycle going by. I always thought Sturgis was loud. The dirt and liter bikes on Curaçao put Harley exhaust in a much quieter category.
