Contemporanius music band and dancing in the downtown Willemstad square today. It was warm out today. These dancers are sure used to the warm weather. They were very coordinated and looked to be enjoying themselves. Very unique and very loud music.

Big party this afternoon at the Madero Beach Club. Everyone getting ready for the. Netherlands soccer team to play. Seems like everyone is having a good time. A lot of accordion in the pop music. Reminds me of Oktoberfest. Without the large steins of beer though.

The produce stands have quite a selection of vegetables. They are clean and seems like over sized. They taste great though.

It sure was a peaceful night at Mambo Beach after the sun went down. Great temperature in the water and a boat passing by. life is good.

Mambo beach front row seats really empty out when the cruise ship people head back to the boat. The more I think about cruise ship travel, the less I think I will like it. I like to experience places I go rather than just have an appetizer. Might try it some day though.

Seems like you can ride your bicycle right into the bakery here. The island version of a drive through!

Listening to the clock bells today downtown. The building has a cuckoo clock type rotating display with musicians below, which were not operating. The bells sure were loud!!!

Beer is expensive here. Whether it is in the grocery store or in a restaurant. This is a big island. There must be a hefty alcohol tax. Having late lunch/early supper (lupper) here at De Heeren by the sea. Good atmosphere by the ocean. Staff is friendly. Rainy day here in Curaçao. They have a seahorse for a railing ornament. Menu and sea views below.

We were out driving and went to Playa Kanoa. This is definitely an off the beaten path location. The roads were poor to drive on.
