Lizards of all types on on this island. This guy was hanging out a rock watching us eat today. At least this one was peaceful. The lizards at night make chirping noises. I think they are actually geckos. At least we haven’t seen any snakes yet.

Many dogs run loose on this island. Today the brown one in this picture, was struck by a car while running across the street, and died. The dog was picked up and placed on the porch by the owner. Ordered some tacos today at the Sambil mall food court. Turns out fries come with the tacos! Seem like fries go well with everything. Who woulda thought? I guess every combo meal comes with fries in this country.

Fast boats down here. Looked like four 300 horsepower motors on this one. Nice calm sea to navigate today.

Saw the Dutch Army out for a ruck march. Currently trying to figure out why I didn’t transfer to the Dutch Army so I could have been stationed here. Too late for that and I really don’t want to ruck march anymore.

Pretty massive oil rig diced at Caracasbaai. It has been here the whole time I have been on the island. You would think they would move it out to sea and maybe drill for oil or something like that. Went to the Tony Roma’s Steakhouse today. I had the ribs and my wife had the shrimp pasta. It was a really good place to eat. Definitely reminds me of an American Steakhouse.
