Went to Blue Bay Beach today and ate at the Coast Restaurant. Very nice selection of food here. The service was great. We will return. Saw a cool pelican resting on top of a palapa on the beach.

Some great times and memorable nights in Punda. Very happy to have the opportunity to be here for the winter.

They have a pretty nice beach and boardwalk downtown Punda. Nice wave break and great views. Great place to go if you live in the downtown area.

The Queen Emma bridge opened up today to let a Holland Navy ship P840 in. Very cool. All the guys were on deck at parade rest. (Or whatever the Navy calls it). Glad for the extra protection around the island. Also a tugboat in the bay patiently spinning around waiting to escort the ship in.

Perception is all about how things are seen and processed. At first look, it appears the man is standing on top of the shoulders of the man below him. Went to the Mistral Restaurant. The food was good. Inside they had quotes posted from numerous people. At Grote Knip today. They had some pigs out on the beach digging through peoples left behind food containers. The pigs didn’t look too skinny. Must be a good plan for them.

Today was the day for creatures on the island. Killer spider in the house. Not sure what kind. A rat or maybe a mouse. Pretty sure it was a rat though in the tree of the beach. Fun times. Turns out the rodent is a Curaçao tree mouse. Thanks Aimee for your research!!!

The Coast Guard was patrolling outside Mambo Beach area today. Cool looking ship.
