I was running low on pencils, so I asked our secretary to order some more when she had time. She asked what I wanted and I asked for wooden round #2 pencils. I like the way the round ones feel in my hand and I like the way a #2 writes. About a week later, the pencils arrived with this stamped logo. I thought it was funny. I asked her about it and she told me for my specific request there were only a couple of choices. I asked what they were. She said (you are awesome, attendance record, or happy birthday). I appreciate her choice every time I write with these pencils. Now that I think about it, maybe professionals use the 6 sided pencils for a reason. They have grown past the little things in life. Maybe someday I’ll be able to make the change to 6 sides instead of round. For now I like the “you are AWESOME” ones I have.
